intuitive solid modeling package available. But intuitive as it is
and as sharp as you are, most of us would benefit from some specific
training to get off to the fastest possible start. Our four day
Solid Edge Fundamentals class is specifically designed for
engineers/designers new to this product and in some cases even new
to solid modeling |

Objective: |

This
4 day course will focus on making the novice user aware of the
potential uses of production level solid modeling.
The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and
concepts central to the use of Solid Edge while providing detailed
workflow information that will benefit the seasoned user as well. |
|
What you will learn: |
|
While
building associative models, you'll create and edit parts and their
features. Students get an overview of Solid Edge data management
that covers file search, design status, revision control, and
properties. Students compose drawings from 3D parts and assembly
models. The drawings you create contain various views, sections,
details, dimensions, and B.O.M's. From start to finish, students are
shown tools that define ease-of-use. |

At
Course Completion: |
|
Students
will have learned how to utilize Solid Edge to design production
level parametric models of parts, sheet metal design, assemblies,
detail drawings and document management. They will also be familiar
with the Solid Edge user interface, adding features, sketching tools
and various modeling techniques.
